Mixed ages of chicks

So I accidentally bought this feed instead of the organic starter I was intending to buy (same color bag, not paying attention and trying to get out the store quickly as it was crowded )
But, I have 7 week old chicks, and I’m getting 1 day old chicks next week. Is this appropriate to feed in that inbetween time when the older chicks will be laying age and the younger ones aren’t yet?

Yes that's fine! You can keep your whole flock on that for life, if you want to. You will have to have oyster shell in a separate container for any hens that are laying. Quite a few people on here use that method. There is no magic in layer feed, it does supply calcium in the feed though.

For the day old Chicks you may have to run the Crumble through a blender for a couple of weeks.
The Crumbles are bigger than Chick Starter in the bags I've gotten. GC
