Mixed Breed Thread! Discuss and Post Pics of Mixes! PIC HEAVY!!!

Hello! I have decided to start a thread in honer of my rooster Jasper.

I just found out that he is a mix and I thought that others would like to show off their mixes. It can be any type of mix or crossbreed. Please post pics and stories of your mixes!

They can be roos or hens. When posting, if you know what breeds your mix is, please share! If you dont, maybe others can help you figure out what breeds yours are mixed with!

Here is Jasper. I have no idea what breeds he is, but many people on BYC suggest Golden Comet/???? If you have any ideas, please share! Here is his story: My pap and I rescued him from my neighbor who has three bigger roosters that would pick on Jasper and not let him eat. Now, he is a sweetie, but still afraid of people touching him. He is great to my hens, too! He is 1 year and 3 months old.

He even guarded my hen when she laid.

ill post a pick of my mix breed shes an iso brown mixed with ee (so basicly a mix mixed with a mix) shes 1 year old, lays white eggs every day well when shes not busy going broody.

Jasper kinda looks like my Rooster I had from last year. (We ate him cause he got mean.) He was an Amber sex-link.

I just got my first mutt chicks this year from my own eggs, I will look for the pics, and post them. (They are still very young though.)

My only Rooster right now is a RIR. Obviously he is the daddy of any bird born here.

I recently got one chick to hatch, and it was a mix I was after... YAY! The mom is a BA.

I like it's feet. Dad's are yellow, mom's are black, so baby had multi color legs. lol

And I hatched 3 eggs under my call duck.

2 of them are pure RIR, 1 is BOXRIR

I had to help that one hatch out.

Starting to fluff out.

With it's 2 siblings.

I call them The 3 amigos. I got lucky, so far looks like all 3 are girls. They are now about 2 months old. I have to take new pictures.
