Built an incubator this weekend and put 37 eggs in. They will be a mix of RIR hens that were bred by a Buff Orpinton roo and an Americauna roo that I have. Would have rather had all from my Buff roo but wasn't really to concerned, just wanted to get some going so I could build up my hens. I figured either one of these crosses should produce a decent egg layer. Can't wait to see what I get. Anyone else have these crosses?
