Can you keep 1 game hen (assel) in with a mixed flock
or am I asking for trouble

I have Old English Game Bantams with a varied assortment of chickens. Not quite close but I have females in this last hatch who are as aggressive as the same breed roosters. My EE's are pretty laid back. Everyone gets along decently.

I think it depends a lot on your bird's disposition too. I had a Red Jungle fowl pullet and she was the sweetest thing ever, not at all like I read about them. She was from a heritage breeder stock so true to form.

Integrating a new single bird into an established flock can be very difficult.

My friend keeps a coop with Game hens and Orpingtons....Seem to be fine....Try it....
