mixed up critters

I was heading out for a trip to town this evening, and asked the dog, Reno, if he would like to come. Of course he said he did. Then we got outside and he refused to get in the car.

However the cat jumped right in. Is there something wrong with this picture?

Just to clarify-the dog stayed home, and so did the cat. I supposed I could have taken him around the block, but I didn't have time.

Kinda narrow minded of ya! Cats can go for rides!

that is funny! NEver had a dog refuse a ride...heck...even had a few dogs that didn't belong to me load up!

yes, Teach, I do know cats can go for rides. I just haven't had any that enjoyed it! One time many years ago, a man pulled up to an ATM with a fluffy white cat in the backseat. I said that surely his cat didn't enjoy car rides? He said that he sure did, and always wanted to go for a ride. LOL

Reno is an old guy now, and funny about the car. Sometimes he wants to go, sometimes he doesn't. I don't know what the deal is with this-he used to love going. Perhaps jumping into the van is getting to be hard now, I don't know.
