mixed with what???

I got a new hen from a friend. My friend said she was a Silkie, but I DEFINATLY know she's not a Silkie! Maybe a Silkie mix. What do you think she is mixed with???

It's the bigger white one. The other is my Splash Silkie.

Sorry this is all the better pics I have. I could try and get some better ones tomorrow.

Gee. could be anything. I have three girls whose mothers were Barred Rocks and the sire was (accidentally) a Cochin/Silkie cross. Only one has one feather on one foot! The other two are clean legged and all three have zigzaggy combs. They all three are black with poufy heads and just adorable. Here's a pic, obviously the one in the front is the one I mean:

I love mixes, you never know how they are going to come out and they are always so pretty!

Well, she (are you sure it's a she?? looks like a roo to me, that big comb...) could be a Silkie. The fellow I bought my girls off from had two that for some reason didn't fluff out, they looked like Sultans, all smooth feathered. They were definitely pure, just "defected" if you can even say that...

Beside the flat feathers, everything else, the head and legs look very Silkie, does she have 5 toes?? Maybe a mix with a Cochin??
