mixing ages

I have 2 Swedish flower hens 10 weeks old and i have an opportunity to get 2 rhode island red pullets 5 months old should i take them or would this be a bad idea?I plan on getting a couple other 10 week old as i lost a couple in a critter attack but now that that is all taken care of motion lights !any way just wanted to hear some opinions thanks

If you take the 5 mos. pullets they will be much bigger than your 10 wk. chicks, and will probably bully them and peck them a lot. If you could keep them separately by dividing the run or using a different coop area for them - I would wait till the younger chicks are about the size of the older ones before I attempted to coop them together.
