Hello,
We're new to chickens and are picking out 4 chicks on Saturday. They should be a little over a week old. The chicks available at our feed store are:
Delaware
Silver Laced Wyandotte
Frizzle Bantams
We are getting them mostly as pets but also for eggs. I would like to venture into clicker training and we're getting them young to socialize them to handling.
My question is, can these three breeds co-exist peacefully? If we were to pick two of one breed and one of the other two which would you favor?
I'm leaning towards either two of the delaware or two of the wyandotte with one bantam (since from what I read they don't lay eggs as often and they are smaller?) would this work or would the bantam get picked on?
Thanks!
