Mixing eggs

Is it a bad idea to mix local and shipped eggs? Will the local eggs be ok not getting turned the first week? Also considering incubating them all upright if that’s a better option

I personally would not wait a whole week to turn eggs, even shipped ones. You can always hand turn your local eggs if you’re waiting a few days to turn the shipped ones. Studies show that turning eggs is important early in incubation.
