I have 3 Buffs,3 Barred Rocks, and 3 Polish. 2 of the Polish are roosters. All 9 are about 13 weeks old.
I also have 3 Silkies that are about 7 weeks old.
I have been putting the 3 silkies out in the pen with the other 9 to get used to each other. I penned off a section so the 9 couldn't hurt them. The older ones tried pecking at them thru the fence but could do no harm. We have been doing this for about 2 weeks.
Well today I removed the inside fence to let them all get close close and personal. Things went better than I thought they would. The bigger ones chased them around a bit and pecked at them a little. The pen is 24 by 15 so they had plenty of room to get away from them. As the day went on the bigger ones stayed together and the babies stayed at the far end of the pen. If they came close to the big ones they would give them a quick peck and chase and they would run back to the other side of the pen.
When should I try getting them in the coop together? I was planning on taking them inside tonight and putting them back out in the morning. Should I do this for a week or 2 before I sneak them in the coop at night so they can all wake together?

The big ones are still pecking at them and they chase them around a little.
The big ones are eating the little ones food and water, so the little ones won't go near it.
Most of the day they just huddle in the corner.
It has been 3 days, should I put them in the coop together?
I was thinking if I wake up early and open the door they might not go after them if they are all in the coop together.
Any thoughts?

If you put them together in the same coop. I would open up early. You have an area that was penned off, put a door only the small ones can get through. You can put some food and water in there. They can use that area as a haven from the older ones.
