Mixing little 5-6 day old ducklings with 2-3 week old ducklings

I tried a little excercise this evening to see how the older ducklings would take to the younger ones. They were pretty mean, I figure I might be able to slowly introduce them day by day and hopefully they’ll take them without hurting them. Any ideas?
Being such and age difference I believe their is a giant size difference? Even if their is no aggression i would be worried they could hurt the little ones with their larger more clumsier feet and bodies. I would do the look but no touch method until they are of similar size. Im not for sure if they are exactly like chickens in the means of a pecking order but their will probably be little bickering for sure. But as long as they are similar size they have a better chance!

If you take a look to the spreadsheet that i have created for my spring ducklings, you can see that the largest duckling was at 230 grams on day seven. Fast forward two weeks and the same duckling hit the scale at 830 grams - factor 3.6. And the size difference is huge! A three week old duckling looks like a giant compared to a one week old.
I wouldn't let them free roam and mix, if you like them to get used to each other, place a mesh barrier between them so that they can see each other and talk but cannot touch and trample.
