I have a few questions...
1. Can different species of pheasants live together peacefully?
2. Do male pheasants need female companionship or can they be kept with other males?

Question1: Yes you can have different species of pheasants housed together as long as their either all males or all females. The enclosure needs to be really big, so they have enough room to get away from an aggressive bird and lots of hiding places.

Question 2: Only if you plan on raising chicks. A female in a pen with several males will be raped, and will more than likely be killed, plus you will have a "blood bath" from the males fighting each other (especially durning breeding season) if a female is present.

Great! Thanks so much. I was planning on having just males since I want the more vibrant colors.
