Why?
Do you have an open run (rain coming in) and want to keep it natural with plants? (-1)
Or a covered run and you get of all the poop a few times a week? ( -2)

- 1 yes, its good for the soil. I added fine chopped wood and also add autumn leaves every year to keep the soil alive and healthy.
- 2 no. It wil be more difficult to scoop the poop.
