Any thoughts on whether it will make a difference if I add some hatchery vaccinated chickens to my flock of non vaccinated self hatched chickens?
I don't mean I am going to just throw them in with the flock immediately, I mean when they are old enough, but do they excrete anything from the vaccination for any period of time? I know its probably a stupid question, but I want to make sure I don't do anything wrong.
Thanks.

Good question. It was always my belief that if you had vaccinated chicks you had to have all vaccinated chicks, but I am no longer sure of this. It is a risk if a live vaccine is used but vaccinated and non vaccinated flocks do get mixed.
