Mobile coop on an old trailer frame

In a previous thread I asked some advise regarding a mobile chicken coop. There was very valuable input and advise in what needs to be considered, even more in our area, to keep our chickens safe especially at night.

We took the time to take everything into consideration and then we started planning and building. Some ideas are from this webpage. e.g. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/egg-mobile-trailer-project.844359/ was a big inspiration.

There is not really much of a story to tell from my side, so I will just post some pictures of the process and the progress. My husband is the one building this coop and he is doing an excellent job! I am looking forward to housing our chickens in it.

Why did you choose coop to be movable??

Movable coop is a fantastic idea. Our neighbors have one on skids. And they use solar panel battery powered mesh fencing. Every couple weeks they just hook the shed to the tractor and slide it to new grass. (After dark when everybody has gone to roost.) Put the fencing back up and morning finds everybody enjoying new pasture!
Yours is better as theirs has a solid floor, so they must clean it. Yours has that mesh floor so you won't have that problem.
