So... recently I became disgusted with modern TV. Everything written in the last 10 years is basically garbage. And its very frustrating. I enjoy creative plots and stories. I've always liked story writing, story boarding, and so on. But everything written now is so... almost evil.
When you put on Netflix for example, you see like 10 or so shows about the devil, and all kinds of stuff. They have shows that ... well basically most of the stuff written in the last 10 years, has NO real good guys. Its like there's villainers, and then subtle villains pretending to be good guys that aren't. And they even have started taking away having good endings now. Now when the show finishes, it leaves it with the villains getting the good ending, and all the good guys getting shanked, killed, and so on.
I guess this doesn't have much to do with backyard chickens except for the fact that they treat good guys in shows like butchering chickens. And it turns into a predator or prey with no middle ground thing. It seems like they want people to believe there's no such thing as good guys, or being good, and want to brainwash everyone to be bad in real life, deny god, and so on.
Its very frustrating.
I watched Game of Thrones up to the end of the second season so far recently as an example. And it looks like there's NOTHING redeeming about the show. EVERYONE either ends up dead or is a murderer, cheat, liar, predator, goes bad... list goes on. What's the point in even having a show if there's no good guys, and no good ending. People want the happy ending, because they want to feel good at the end instead of feeling like ...
And when watching the EXPANSE, it looks like ALL of the characters are crazy. They cannot even think with even the smallest 0.01% of common sense and will always do the STUPIDest choice they possibly can.
So... is it pretty much time to throw our TVs away? We might not have electricity next year anyway.
