I have some Silkie pullets in my show pen and a couple have started laying but I don't know which ones they are. If I put food coloring on their vents, will it stain the feathers?? Don't now how else to tell who is laying but I didn't know if the food coloring is like a dye. I have read on BYC that people use it..help!!
