Where or what is the moisture ring in a Little Giant 9200?

Would this merely be the square Moat near the center of the bator base?

11 eggs are warming to room temp, the bator is warming and I think has held at 99.5at the top of the egg, another thermometer says 95-97 at the base, or the bottom side of the egg. I do have an auto turner...

Yep Joe that is what the moisture ring is and if you have the still air bator they suggest a temp of 102, that is what I have been told. Maybe some one else will chime in on this one. HTH

I can't stand the rings in my little giants. I highly reccomend using
a few sponges or wet sock instead.

Get a wiggler if you don't have one too....

i hate my auto turner. i have hatched two batches with hand turning very sucessful and the temps around 101.5 to 102 and humidity at 50% with using the bottom moat. I use soaked socks after day 18 to increase humidity with out having to mess with it open to much. Good luck.
