Currently most of my games are isolated in their own breeding pens except with get togethers realized by having a given hen and cock brought out for about 15 minutes for conjugal purposes. This has enabled tracking of molt pattern of individuals. Cocks and bullstags have been replacing flight feathers of wings for last 45 to 60 days and their eclipse molt is underway with replacement of pointed red breeding hackles by the rounded short black tipped eclipse hackles. Hens on the other hand have not replaced any flight feathers as of yet nor any other feathers I an see. Body feather replacement is hard to detect since birds consume them immediately. Hens are all either still in lay, incubating eggs, brooding chicks, or reconditioning for another bout.
