I have 13 laying hens. On Mother's Day we moved to our new house. The girls did not lay for the next week. I noticed that they are starting to molt. My black australorp's are killing more than the rest. I have one bird that is bare neck, bare back and bare bottom. I have sprayed her down but she looks awful. We would normally get 11-13 eggs a day hit lately there are only 7-9 eggs per day. I have been upping their protein for the molting and giving a few treats. I've also I priced that they are eating their eggs again after I thought we had this problem under control. I now get their eggs 4-5 times a day. At the old house m, hey had a fenced in yard that they had to stay in but at the new house, they have 1-1/2 acres to roam. I'm wondering if they are still stressed from the move, and is thus causing the molting. We are in Michigan and have had up and down weather lately. We really did not have a traditional spring this year either. One day in the 80's and then the next in he 60's. Could all of this be factor's in their behavior? There have been no prediators. I have cameras set up that monitor their coop and cages set up for night time dangers. We can hear coyotes in the distance and know that there are raccoons.

Any advice would be appreciated.
