Molting at 8 months?

Does this look like early molt or something more serious? A couple of my 8 month old girls stopped laying about a month ago. Now their combs and wattles are getting smaller and lighter in color and feathers are getting shaggy with new pin feathers coming in around their necks. I’m pretty sure it’s just molting but I’m still new and just wanted to ask opinions of more experienced people.
