Hey guys it's been forever since I've been here, it's been a little crazy around my little farm.

A long time ago (back in December) I posted a thread asking why my drake was turning white on his head when he wasn't old or sick. Everyone said he was molting and I left it at that, not thinking anything else of it. My problem is that it's mid-May and he is still mostly grey on his head. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, they have clean water, clean pen, layer pellets, and oyster shells to supliment their diet. My next step is to take him to a vet but I hate to do that because there is nothing else wrong with him. He's still really energetic, all of his other feathers look great, he talks all the time, does 'things' with the ladies, and chases our dogs like he's bad stuff XD! Do you guys have any advice on what I might be able to do for him before taking him to a vet?

The other thing I need to know is; what is the correct way to ship fertilized eggs for hatching? I kind of dug myself into a hole and I'm trying to fix it. My friend told me she needed to rehome her ducks, I didn't trust having Pekins in with my much smaller WHQ and found a little boy down the road that LOVES animals. He's never had ducks and I promised I'd give these ones to him... they got killed by a dog. So now I'm trying to get him some fertilized eggs from my ducks that he can hatch. He's hatched turkeys and chickens and knows how to do the hatching process, but I have no idea how to get the eggs to him. He just lives down the road, and I just need to know the amount of time I have to collect and get the eggs to him. Do they have to be put in an incubator the same day if you want them to hatch? Or can I wait a couple of days so I can ship him four or five eggs? If I can wait, how should I store them? Do they have to stay at a certain temperture? I'd really appretiate the help, I don't want to break my promise to this little boy.

Thanks guys, any help is appretiated!
