Molting pullet beak? Broken pullet beak?

Two days ago, my pullet (one day before she’s a hen!) chipped off? broke off? molted off? her beak. I can’t find her beak any where (I have read about super glue, neosporin, vet visits, etc). I’m wondering, does any one know what is going on? Any experience, expertise, and advice will be greatly appreciated (thank you in advance!!).

I have attached her before and after pictures.

I have been giving a lot of TLC, watching her continuously, and providing mash.

Your pictures won't enlarge and they are sideways so it's hard to see details. My guess is it's some sort of injury. It should grow back as long as the blood supply or quick isn't damaged.

Yes, from what I can tell it looks injured. Doesn't look to bad. Could have happened on a feeder or waterer, trying to get something on the other side of wire, or running into someting if startled. Will likely grow out and be fine.
For future reference, chickens don't lose beaks during molt, just feathers.

thank you! I recently read about molting beaks and I was super perplexed/confused. Thanks for bringing more insight and confirming my suspicions!
