Molting?

I have a chicken that is a little over a year old. I noticed today that she looks like that she's starting to molt. Is July early for her to molt? Thanks for any input. Oh! I live in northern California and the temps have dropped a little bit.

Kinda early, but not unprecedented.
Days are shortening, we don't really notice, but they do.
