Molting?

Hello, back with another question! My Rouen Drake is 3 months old & I notice in their run there’s feathers & they look like his. I have 2 khaki Campbell hens so they are just that brown color where as the feathers appear dark grey or more like his color. Is it normal for him to be losing feathers? I read about molting but wasn’t sure if that could be it, he isn’t balding but I can definitely see feathers in their run & pool.
