? Molting

My Blue Cochin seems to be losing her feathers and is even showing bare skin in some spots. She also seems to be 'sneezing'....as cute as that sounds I am concerned that she could be getting sick....or molting...I don't know...any idea/suggestions?

Maybe just molting. Sometimes chickens sneeze, hope it's so. Here's a link about feather loss.

Probably molting. I have one that is molting right now.

Thanks to you both for the information about my Cochin....I did read some of the material from the links you provided and feel better as one part of the reading indicated "Because birds usually molt
when the day length decreases,
feather loss during the fall is
generally the result of a molt". This made me feel ALOT better!
