molting

Hi everyone! Been awhile since I've been here. My flock is doing well but concerned about 3rd molt that is starting. Girls are light Brahmas and are 20 months old. Is it normal to molt this many times at this age? First two molts were soft molts, normal weight loss even with extra nutrition. Would they be stressed? We butchered 3 guinnies last week, but not anywhere near hens....would love some input, thanks!

18 months is the usual time for birds to have their first full adult molt.
But they can have 3-4 partial molts before 12 months old....I just had a 9 month old go thru a partial molt that stopped her laying for 2 months.

Thanks aart The girls molted at 12 months, again at 16 months( I think that was induced by stress with the move maybe?) and looks like its starting again. Otherwise they seem healthy and free range most of day. Coop is clan, no mites no other issues. So maybe just their normal cycle now.
