I had a Broody hen for two months! TWO MONTHS! I removed eggs, I took her off the nest several times...and she'd make another one! One day I happen to stop at TSC and they had Chicks so taken a risk I got four Amerucauns. I went and put them underneath her and she was like AH FINALLY THEY'VE ARRIVED! She is such a good Momma! She even took on our Boar cause he got too close! I didn't take her out of the coop or anything, I have thirty-two (now 36) chickens, five ducks, and a turkey in that coop...no problems! She built a nest in the corner and those chicks were so happy to have a momma! They run around the pasture...so cute! She is so happy now!
