It's so worth not having to mess with contacts and or glasses
Even it it meant I couldn't wear makeup ever again (which isn't the case) I would still do it. I can actually wear makeup easier now than with contacts. There's not the iritation that I had with contacts. There is nothing like being able to roll out of bed and see the first thing you look at or if you hear a noise in the middle of the night you don't have to fumble around the nightstand looking for your glasses. SO WORTH IT!!!!
