I found one on Craigslist..and wondered if anyone had one. It's a old one but the guy doesn't know how old. He says it works and all but hasn't used it in a yeard or so.
How good are these incubators?
what are things I can do to make sure he's not tricking me?
Thanks all

I'd ask him to plug it in and set it up to run, and take a hygrometer/hydrometer with you when you go to look at it. The hygrometer will tell you everything you need to know about how well it works.

Thats what was thinking. Thanks guys.
I would stink if it broke down and couldn't get parts.
This guy lives about 2 hrs away so I would have to hope it's worht the drive.

If it's the one I'm thinking about, it's a round metal incubator. I have one, and it has a wafer thermostat. They work pretty well, but there is no provision for water (you'll have to use a dish or something to suppy humidity). I quit using mine because I can't find a turner that fits in it.

No you're thinking of the brower top hatch.
This one is cabenet style like sportsman.
