Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I just got a 1 year old Serama hen that has lived in the house all her life. She has a nice big cage in our living room. She is super sweet and loves to cuddle...most of the time. She has fallen asleep on me and coos when I pet her. Sometimes she pecks. I bop her on the head and tell her no. She bit me hard last night. I bopped her and told her no after she pecked the first time. When she bit me I put her back in her cage and didn't let her out again. Is this normal behavior?
