You don't say what he is passing as to manure?
what color is it?

also I feel that antibiotic is not neccessary unless
he has a respiratory disease
chickens do not get a cold but infection in the lungs
so does he have swollen eyes?
snoty beak?
coughing or runny nose?

with that said I would simply treat him with
wet mash p[robiotic with Vit E

3 tbsp of dry crumbles
4 tbsp of milk any kind
1 tbsp of yoguart and 1 tbsp of applesauce put on tip of mixed wet mash

before putting the A.S. on top
take a 1000 mg of Vit E and cut end of capsule and put it in th wet mash
do this twice a day for a week then see if he is not better

if he gets a respiratory disease then give him neomycin

the Duramycin is not worth wasting time and money on as it is not effective in the case of respiratory disease

any questions email me

Besides all of the other things that Glenda asked, is his crop unusually big? I've become an EXPERT on impacted and sour crops...

If he is coughing, you definitely need to keep him away from the others. It sounds like a respiratory infection of some sort. I don't know much about treating those, maybe others can make some recommendations?

Bump for the OP - What is the recommended "standard" for a generic respiratory infection? Or is there something specific that call ducks should be looking for/treating for? Mareks?

he is dead
