So we just put about 300 pounds of chicken in the freezer this weekend and wanted to work on getting a batch of Pekins in that aren't the ones I'm growing out to give me eggs next year.. but when we called our hatchery here just down the road they said they sold out of their last batch for the year TODAY
I got an even better deal though, for just a few $$ (I think he said $4), they would sell me their 1 year old stock to get me started
I bought my baby pekins from there in the spring so I know they have nice birds, I'm so excited to get them this weekend!!!
