More new ducklings...help please!

i am raising 3 khakis, 2 Welshies and they are doing great at about a week and a half old. It’s always surprising how fast they grow!

One of the baby ducks was DOA on arrival, so the hatchery is sending me 3 more, eta on Wednesday.

Should I create a separate brooder for the new girls? Or will they be okay with the larger ducklings?

You wont know till you try. I’d make another one just Incase.

I brought 2 day old duckling in with my 2.5 week old girls they are bullying the little one who is 3 days old now so I cut some hardware cloth put gorilla tape around the edges and made a divider. I let them be together when I can watch them other wise the a separate but can see each other.

Meyer Hatchery in Ohio. But they’re being fulfilled by Metzger Farms in CA. Go figure.

Give them a few days to get stronger and then introduce them...
