Here is the trio today in their pool outside while I was cleaning out the brooder...
They actually appear to hate me LOL, they freak out whenver I try to pick them up..I just have to COME IN the chick/duck room upstairs and they plaster themselves to the edge of the brooder and make quite the racket.
I remember the chickens did that up until the day I put them out in the coop, and then all of a sudden they loved me and wanted to be around me. Do you guys think the ducklings will go this route too? Their duck coop is close to the house and they'll be on a feeding schedule to avoid grossness in the coop, they'll also be locked up at night so they'll have a lot of contact with us.
Do ducks like yogurt like the chicks do? I gave them peas last night that they gobbled up, and they go out onto the front lawn in a pen during the day most days so they get lots of greens if they want them.
Anyway, to the photos!
