lol well i have gone and lost it... i now have 92 chicks in the house!! who is with me on making it an even 100 ?? LOL

50 cornish cross (came today 1 day old)
20 RIR pulletsthese and the rest are one week old)
13 brown leghorns
1 partidge silkie
1pumkin hulsey
1 GLW
1 blue hamburg
1 partridge cochin
1 light brama

Well, that makes me feel better. I started with 47 and rounded up to 50.

Its that time of the year. I thought I was bad I have 48 in one brooder 12 in another in the house and 3 more brooders full out in the baby coop. and I just won an incubator on Sunday I am already saving up eggs to fill it. lol

I started with 10 and still have 10 :out:: Doctors won't let me drive right now and hubby is making a point of not driving close to anywhere having chick days!!!!

Wow you are wose than me!!! I just realized yesterday that I have 50 animals, and yes 26 of them are inside (27 if you count Hubby )

Thing is, ya gotta realize that my house is 560sq ft, which is smaller than some people's living room, so living beings per square foot, plus all the junk = crowded! lol

lol that 92 isnt counting the batch of mixed teenagers in the outside brooder or the mature hens lol

we have a lot of critters! goats, mini horses, big horses, dogs, cats, ferrets, and rats sheesh! lol

My mouth just dropped when reading this!LOL....I have 16 chicks in the brooder and i'm going bonkers, 92 is insane! I'm bowing on my knees for you! I was just complaining to my DH last night about the noise and the mess.....I just can't imagine.

Too funny!!!!! And my husband thinks I'm bonkers for having 6 and adding more tomorrow!!! He asked me last night if he realized how many pets we've got. I told him, "Yeah. We've got 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 1 rat." He pointed out to me that I didn't count the birds. Yep, there's a reason for that.

I reminded him that my friend has many, many more animals than we do and that he ought to be grateful that I'm not trying to keep up with her!
