We got them at the local feed store when they were 3 days old, on July 25th. 11 white, 4 brown & 2 black, all Silkies. I believe it's the white ones because feathers were stuck to them. I will try to figure out how to post a photo.
They are not laying. There are two possible explanations I can thing of. You either have other poultry laying or someone is playing a practical joke on you. I'd guess a practical joke, it would not be the first time something like that has happened.
Can you post photos of the eggs with something to show scale so we can tell how big they are.
They are in a locked coop by there self. And when they started laying my husband was in another state for three days for a funeral. Sending photos now.
Well if they are laying, which i believe they are, then make sure you give plenty of calcium to them and maybe mix in layer feed. You don't want your girls to be sucking the calcium from their bones to make the eggs that won't be good in the long run. Also maybe they will stop, but maybe they won't. Either way chickens are unpredictable in many cases so enjoy the eggs and the birds because yours are extremely adorable. Have a great day i hope this helped
