Just off to feed My Ladies their Warm Mash and Veggies. Wild and Free, in their Run&Veggie Garden!

Warm mash and veggies, huh? My girls would be so jealous -- come to think of it, I might be, too. With nearly no one laying right now, I am planning on a breakfast of cold bran flakes and blueberries.

And, there's no veggie garden here until spring. We just had more than six inches of snow, it's going to melt, refreeze and more snow is predicted to fall on top of the then-ice. Yup, I'm jealous.

Climate sounds like our house...I'm now up to 2 eggs, per day, from 5 pullets.

I mixed up three boxes of baby oatmeal with nice warm water at lunchtime today. It was 9 degrees out and I figured the flock could use a bellly-warming.
