my coop is infested with crickets , i mean its crawling with them , can i use one of these bombs inside the coop ,of course without the chickens around ?
This is a new problem i have never heard of. Your chickens should eat the crickets. My birds will chase a cricket for 20 feet if needed to eat it. I suggest removing the feed from the pen for a day or three and watch the cricket population go extinct. Be sure there is light in the coop so your birds can see them.
I would not use any kind of bug killing chemicals in your coop. Your birds may eat a poisoned cricket or ground and become sick/die.
If it is not labeled safe to be used around food-producing animals, then no - it will get into the chickens, then into the eggs, then you when you eat them.
I agree, your chickens should eat the crickets, they are a great source of protein.
