greetings! Has anyone used "mosquito bits" in their waterer? We have a good nipple waterer but larvae are finding their way in through the vents. We bought some Mosquito Bits (bacillus thurigiensis) as an additive, but the cautions make it look kind of toxic. Is it safe for the hens?

I'm interested in this too - did you get any responses to this?

Thanks for the quick response. We have chickens and ducks. The ducks have a little wading pool. The ducks swim in it and everyone drinks from it sometimes.

I'm wondering if it's safe to add the mosquito dunks to the wading pool.

My ducks swam in my pond and the chickens drink from it. They have been/are fine. You can't imagine the little thingies in a natural pond.
