Most attractive Egg laying hens? (Brown eggs)

I like my buffy...she's cute and cuddly and a mean old bossy hen.
Oh wait, you wanted good hens.

She's on the top of the order, so it's more of a social thing than a breed thing.

Great pets! They expect you to love on them, and get jealous when you pet other chicks. They are full of personality and even my 10 week old roos will go to sleep in my arms. Great breed, go for it and you won't be sorry.

Vortec, your silver-laced Wyandotte is spectacular. All of your birds are beauties.

I vote for the Speckled Sussex too. I lost mine to an impacted crop, and boy do I miss her. Nice girl too.

My other little pretty is my Columbian Wyandotte; she's the same color as the Light Brahmas, and she's a lap chicken. She stretches her neck out on my chest and falls asleep.

Barnevelders are pretty, maybe not as pretty as the speckled sussex, but still nice to look at. Ours lay medium brown eggs - darker than the barred rock & production red eggs, but not dark like marans lay. They don't lay every day though. They started laying at 27 weeks of age and we're getting about 4 eggs per week from each barnevelder, while the other chickens are giving us 6-7 eggs per week.
