Hey guys, what australian spotted duck between the blue head, silverhead, and green head would you find to be the most attractive? I have a show pair coming at the end of the month and can't decide if I want the silverhead or blue heads. They're both stunning. What are your thoughts? First time owning this type of duck so haven't seen any in person. It looks like the silverhead have a lighter toned body which I do really like the look of. I will already have some mallards and some appleyards so didn't want to get the green head australian spotted ducks since they some what closely resemble a mallard and Appleyard and I'd like a nice looking variety in my flock so which is why I'm almost more leaning on the silverhead pair but I really don't know. I heard the blue heads can bread all three types of the three which I liked but I'm not too concerned so much about that. Any help would be great! Thanks so much

Silver heads are the rarest and hardest to breed for so good deal picking those :thumbsup I have had Aussie Spots for 6-7 years now and I adore them. They are VERY intelligent/aware and deserve the best. I don't have a favorite color, I like them all. Lol
Several of mine are proven mutant recessive white carriers and the only 3 pure white offspring I ever hatched did not survive beyond 7 months. I do not know if it is genetic or just accidental. Whites are very rare in Aussie Spots according to Dave Holderread.
