Most Common Hatching Date

This is my first time incubating. I am getting ready to hatch on Sunday. But I was wondering when your chicks noramaly hatch?? Are they Early, Late, or Rigth on time?? I hope this helps other new time incubators/hatchers as well.

I've had eggs hatch day 18 and I've had eggs hatch on day 23-25. The most common is day 21-22.

Well I am on day 20 and there is nothing. My tempature was also kinda low. This is my first hatch I just hope all goes well.I haved 5 in the bator now. 13 others were infertile

It's still early. If it was only a degree or less you will be okay. I've had times where they hatch early and times where they pip on day 21 and POP out quickly. The most important thing is to make sure your humidity stays around 70-75% I lost a over 100 chicks to shrinkwrap, in one hatch. Don't open until done. It will be hard, but its harder on you if you try to help, and end up killing it. I wish you good luck with your first hatch. Michele
