I've lost a few recently to a possum.. but the second night he got in the big pen, the girls were squawking up a storm..at 7:30 pm. I went out with the .22 and took care of Mr Possum, then wrapped hot wire around the tree he had been using to get into the pen, even after it had 2 strands of hot wire around it. Mr possum looked like a spaghetti strainer when I was done... I was mad!The best roo I ever had was a SLW, named Chase. He fought off an owl during the night, nearly died from it. When he was 3 a dog got into the pen and we had to put him down later that day from the injuries he sustained fighting of the dog.
