Hi! I went to a Morrissey gig last August (2016) and his updated 'Meat is Murder' video that he played had a proper impact on me and made me realise I need to do my bit to try to redress our species' wrongs. I rescued 4 chickadees from being turned into chicken nuggets through Fresh Start for Hens in December '16 and named them after my childhood animal welfare heroes. Morrissey, Pammie (Anderson), Joanna (Lumley) and Bridget (Bardot).

I have 3 cats and am a nurse. Then hens have the run of the house when I'm home...I get star-jumping tantrums if I don't let them out of their walk in run! They're messy, totally trashed my garden, poo everywhere but I love my feathery funklets!
