mother hen???

I have 3 hens hatching chicks right now and we had choose to only have one be the mother hen but someone had told us that if we did that the other hens would not set anymore by not letting them mother the chicks. I was wonder was this true??? Please help first time hatching chicks.

Giving all of the chicks to just one hen will NOT stop the others from setting in the future.
