I heard turkeys make excellent mothers and protect the eggs they hatch out. If they hatch out some duck eggs or chicken or whatever eggs there are will she still care for the baby if they are not turkey?

One of my hens luckily hatched a chicken egg. A chicken somehow layed an egg in the turkey hen's nest and I never noticed. I wouldn't try putting any chicken eggs under a turkey. Turkeys are too heavy. They will crack the eggs.
