Mottled D uccle,looking for them?

My bantams are mixed and inherited from two original owners so have a bit of a Polish hairdo up on top...roo is speckled and he's got two semi Polish speckled hens but the last chick a hen sneakily hatched is not speckled. Sorry! I've got another hen on a clutch so will see what that produces...possibly next Spring...?

Hi
Well next springs better than not at all

I see you have BLRW I have some as well got them this sping Ive got 9 They are acting like all rossters but Im sure there must be a hen or two in there, anyways mine are mean! they are always pecking on my brahmas which are older. How are yours ?

Mine are great! The banty is a very plump and meaty pullet so I'd like a flock of those in the future (the others arrived frozen and she was limp, not breathing so I put her head in my mouth, got her breathing along w/massaging her chest and back).

The standards are huge now, three are splash and three are reg BLRW. Two of the standard splash had leg problems right off the bat so I withheld feed over night and also made them exercise so they turned out healthy and real beauties but I'm worried they may be mostly roo's as their combs are very red. I'll get pics tonight as the weather finally cleared up. (Always forget to bring camera w/me in the evenings while I spend time w/them.)

The banty chicks hatched out only 3, and all black, the owner of the hen is bringing them to me tonight or tomorrow to hand raise so they will be nice and tame.

This Spring I'll be collecting fertile eggs so will keep you in mind- all the purebreds will be separated to keep pure.

My mottled D uccles are looking beautiful, one roo and his girls. His name's Curry and one of the girls likes perching on shoulders like a parrot.
