Mottled Houdan Hen or Roo?

Would anyone like to weigh in on what we’re raising here? Alice (that’s what we’re calling them) is very sweet and well-tempered so far. About four weeks old. Gets along with the other chicks. Isn’t necessarily vocal, but is the largest of our chicks. (Also raising a Brabanter, Sebright and Japanese Bantam.)

At 4 weeks old, Alice looks like 'Alice', but that can still change.

Thanks for these early replies! I am thrown by the very early redness in the V comb, but I’ve read that that might be typical of this breed.
