We have a Mottled Houdan who is 5 weeks old, and we are not sure whether it is a cockerel or a pullet. If anyone can give us some insight, we would greatly appreciate it! The kid is in love with my wife, and has a very calm demeanor. This is the first time we have owned any Mottled Houdans, so we aren't really sure if this is normal behavior or if it could be indicative of his/her sex.
